Message the unsprung weight (anything that goes up and down from suspension travel ... wheels, tires, brakes, rotors etc) is a factor but IMO its neglible on heavy cars like supras, zs, bmws, etc. The lighter the unsprung assembly the quicker it can react to road imperfections. I don't know anyone who complains about the suspension not doing a good enough job on the z32. The biggest complaint is weight of the car. Lightening the car itself improves handling waayyy more than lightening the unsprung assembly. Eventually your car becomes so light you NEED a lighter unsprung assembly to go with it. Like that will ever happen with our cars.
